Teammates was established in 1997 by Glenn Marshall. The business will be managed in three components, in which Glenn and Yolanda will facilitate.
A native of St. Louis, Glenn has an athletic background and experience as a high school (Soldan) and college basketball player (Forest Park Comm. College and Kansas State University), listed as one of the top point guards in the Public High League publication produced by sportswriter Earl Austin of the St. Louis American. Glenn's professional experience in England, in addition to his basketball coaching experience at the two and four year collegiate level, coaching camps with former NBA player Rolando Blackmon in Dallas, Panama City, Colon Panama, and camps in Kansas. Glenn's back ground will provide parents the confidence that their child will get the fundamentals and quality instructions from an experienced professional. Glenn received B.S. Social Science from Kansas State University; Master of Management from Fontbonne University; Ed.S. from Webster University, and a Master Certificate in Sports Management(MOBAP)
Yolanda Marshall
As Retired Director of the UMSL Welcome Center in the Division of Student Affairs, Yolanda was responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the UMSL Welcome Center, Triton Information Desk, and Student Affairs Staff Professional Development Committee. In addition to her responsibilities in Student Affairs, Yolanda also served on a variety of University Committees (e.g., Campus Safety Committee, Key Communicators, and Student Discrimination Grievance Committee). Yolanda served a total of 30 years of education as a veteran employee at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis(UMSL), and as Coordinator of Admissions at St. Louis Community College(Forest Park). Yolanda received her BA in Communications from Fontbonne University and her Masters in Higher Education from UMSL. In elementary, and high school, Yolanda participated in track and field.
Charnay Marshall
Born in Dallas, Texas but raised in St.Louis, Missouri. Charnay holds an Associates Degree in psychology and human services, and is currently working on her Bachelors in teaching and special education. She has over 10 years of customer service experience, 8+ years of health care experience, that include insurance verification, working hands on with kids and adults who have autism, or certain behaviors/learning disabilities. Charnay was on the year book committee, and was selected amongst others to create the schools year books for 2 consecutive years. This is what lead her to web designing. Since then Charnay has started 3 businesses of her own, and she helps others get their business platforms going by creating their websites, providing labels for their products, and creating content for more publicity. Charnay is currently a paraprofessional with the Special School District, were she helps 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders enhance their reading, writing, and math skills. This past year she accepted a cheer coach position within the Riverview School District, and plans to start a girls mentor group at her school.
